Appointment & Salon

Policies

As a busy grooming parlour, our appointment schedule and waitlist can fill up quickly. To help everything run smoothly and fairly for all of our valued clients, we have a few simple policies in place. Thank you for your understanding and support – they help us continue providing the best possible care for every dog we see.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer your slot to another client. Failure to give adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee:

•  48–24 hours’ notice: 50% of the grooming fee will be charged.

•  Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: 100% of the grooming fee will be charged.

If appropriate notice is provided, no fee will apply.

Lateness

Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule, and the full grooming fee will still apply. This helps us maintain fairness for all clients and keeps the day running smoothly.

Fleas

If your dog has fleas, please let us know before the appointment. We will need to use a specialist flea shampoo and perform additional cleaning of the grooming area to protect other dogs. A charge of £10–£15 will be added to cover the cost of the shampoo, room treatment spray, and extended cleaning time.

Matted Coats

Please notify us if your dog has matted or knotty fur. These cases often require additional time and care. In cases of severe matting, we may have to clip the coat short.

An additional fee of £10–£15 may be applied to cover extra time, product usage, and equipment wear.

Behaviour Disclosure

It is important that we are informed of any medical conditions or behavioural issues your dog may have prior to their appointment. This ensures the safety and wellbeing of both your pet and our groomer.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

FAQ’s

How long does a grooming session take?

Most grooming sessions take between 1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the breed and coat condition.

Do you groom all dog breeds?

We don’t groom all breeds. Please contact us to discuss your dog’s specific grooming needs.

What products do you use?
We use high-quality, dog-safe shampoos and conditioners tailored to different coat types.
How do I prepare my puppy for their first groom?

We recommend ensuring your puppy has had a chance to toilet before their appointment to help avoid any accidents during their visit. Additionally, familiarising them with being handled, especially their paws and ears, and getting them accustomed to the sound of a hairdryer can make the grooming experience more comfortable for them.
